A New Life

Well the time has come, and it’s time for me to begin my new life career! Tomorrow I will be starting my first day as a true aerospace engineer in the work force. It seems like it took forever to get here, and at the same time it feels like my whole life up till now has flashed by. It’s hard to believe that four years ago I was entering into college, not knowing exactly what I wanted in my life… from career choice, to my triathlon aspirations. Now I look back at a very successful college career and triathlon record, and it just feels amazing.

Some of the happiest days in my life have occurred over the last few years! Here are just some of the many highlights.

It all began with FL Half Ironman…

I meet my girlfriend Taylor back in my freshman year…

I completed my first Ironman in Louisville, Kentucky…

Ironman Louisville

Then another in Clermont, FL (Great Floridian)…

Great Floridian Triathlon

And finally became a Alumni of the University of Central FL with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering!

Of course there are plenty other memories from these four year, that I will never forget! Now it’s time for my new life, and the beginning of new memories, I can’t wait :)

What are accomplishments you’ve made that you will never forget? Please share in the comments below!

Congrats on your new job – pretty awesome.

My single biggest accomplishment is and will always be becoming a father. Yeah, there’s been plenty of other cool stuff, I’ve been lucky enough to experience quite a bit so far. And I’m nowhere near done pushing myself into new accomplishments. But becoming a dad was a game changer for sure.

Good luck on your first day, Kyle! You have lots to be proud of about your time at UCF– and what a difficult major!

Can’t wait to hear how your first day goes :)
